Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game where players compete in musical battles by matching scrolling arrows. Developed by ninjamuffin99, Kawai Sprite, PhantomArcade, and evilsk8r, the game follows a college dropout rapper pursuing his girlfriend. Her former rock-star father opposes their relationship and challenges the main character to prove himself through a rap battle. HOW TO PLAY

Core Gameplay

Friday Night Funkin' challenges players to follow colored arrows that move upward during each musical battle. When an arrow reaches its matching symbol near the screen's top, players must press the corresponding key. Accurate timing helps you continue through the song while keeping up with its changing rhythm. Players can also select a difficulty level before beginning each battle, with easier settings providing an accessible starting point.

Battle Progress

A health bar displayed along the bottom of the screen indicates your performance during each round. Players must continue matching incoming arrows correctly while the song and rap battle remain active. The green portion of the health bar represents an important measure of your current performance. If this green section disappears completely, the battle ends and the player loses that round.
