About Wave Race

Wave Race is a 2D arcade skill game built around guiding a geometric arrow through increasingly demanding courses with precise vertical movement. Instead of controlling its forward speed, you decide when the arrow should climb or drop while it travels automatically through each layout. Narrow gaps, slopes, walls, spikes, and rotating cogs constantly change the amount of space available, making small adjustments important throughout a run. You can choose from three modes depending on whether you want to clear individual stages, focus on distance, or compete against other arrows. Classic mode provides 33 selectable levels and includes checkpoints for practicing sections that are difficult to pass consistently. Endless mode turns survival into the main objective, while Race mode challenges you to reach the finish against other arrows. Different colorful skins also let you change your arrow's appearance before taking on another course. Find the right flight rhythm and make your way through the next challenge!

GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW

Navigate Changing Gaps And Hazards

Wave Race keeps the arrow moving ahead while you manage its position by alternating between rising and descending. Holding the control sends it upward, whereas releasing allows it to drop, so every obstacle requires you to judge how long each movement should last. Walls, spikes, rotating cogs, slopes, and confined passages create different situations where climbing too high or dropping too soon can end your attempt. As the available space changes, watching the upcoming route becomes essential for preparing your next adjustment.

Progress Through Classic Or Chase Distance

Classic mode divides the challenge across 33 selectable levels, with courses becoming more difficult as you advance. Checkpoints let you practice troublesome sections rather than focusing only on completing an entire layout at once. For a different type of challenge, Endless mode removes the traditional finish and measures your run by how far you can continue. This creates two distinct goals: learning structured courses in Classic mode or extending your distance through repeated attempts in Endless mode.

Race Other Arrows And Change Your Look

Race mode takes the familiar flight controls into a competitive format where multiple arrows head toward the finish. Instead of concentrating only on surviving the obstacle course, you also have the goal of completing the route against the other arrows. The same need for accurate height control remains important as you move through hazards along the course. Different colorful skins are also available, allowing you to customize how your arrow looks.
